Teddies Nurseries help Pudsey bear appeal
13 November 2007
Children at the Bupa-run Teddies nursery in Loughton will be raising money for Children in Need by holding an all-day pyjama party.
All the children, aged from three months to five years old, are being encouraged to join in the fun and take part in the charity event in support of Pudsey bear and Children in Need. The nursery will also be holding a raffle to raise further funds for the children's charity.
Jennie Day, nursery manager, commented: "At Teddies, we believe every child is special, which makes Children in Need an important charity for us. We are hoping that the pyjama party will not only be great fun for the children but will also help raise as much money as possible for the appeal."
Children at all Teddies' 34 nurseries, which are located predominately in London and the south east, will take part in the fundraising, meaning a total of over 3,000 children will be helping raise money for Children in Need.
Bupa's Community Connections, which recognises and supports all the good work being done by Bupa employees in their local communities, will be matching the money raised pound-for-pound by all the Teddies Nurseries.
