Bupa appoints new National Head of Physiotherapy

Bupa Hospitals clinical services team has appointed Liz Mathers as National Head of Physiotherapy. Reporting to Jan Clement, Head of Clinical Services, Liz will continue in her role as Physiotherapy Manager at Bupa Hospital, Leicester.
Liz will be responsible for developing services and treatments nationally in addition to ensuring best practice and standards across the Bupa network.
Liz has 17 years of experience in the field of physiotherapy and joined Bupa 13 years ago. She trained at Sheffield Hallam University and completed a MSc masters degree at Nottingham University in 2005.
Liz Mathers said: “I’m really excited to work with all of the Bupa physios to implement new innovative methods of work as well as sharing our knowledge and techniques nationally to reach best practice.”
Jan Clement, Head of Clinical Services added: “I’m delighted to see Liz take on this new role at Bupa. Liz has vast experience in the field and her role in developing a comprehensive strategy across the network of physiotherapy at Bupa and will be invaluable in ensuring our patients always receive the best possible treatments.”
