Finance fanatics get set for fun day at local school
Children at Finsbury Park’s Montem primary school are looking forward to a special activities day filled with gingerbread man making and fun sports activities, thanks to 35 Bupa employees, who are giving up their time on Friday 20 June to make a difference in their local community.
A host of activities are planned for the children ranging from a sports day to painting murals and cookery sessions. The green-fingered employees, all of whom come from Bupa’s finance department, are also planning on re-vamping the garden area at the primary school, while a cake sale is taking place at the end of the day to raise money for sports equipment for the school.
Fraser Gregory, Bupa’s Head of Finance, based in Holborn, London, said, “Everyone from our finance team is really looking forward to being part of such an action packed day. It’s great to give something back to the local community in which many of us live and work.”
Mrs Sue Seifert, Headteacher at Montem Primary School, said, “We are really grateful to the employees from Bupa for giving up their time to come to the school on Friday and for organising such a fun-filled day for the children.”
This activity day forms part of Bupa’s corporate social responsibility programme of initiatives, which focuses on providing help and support to the local communities in which Bupa employees live and work.
