Bupa Group Risk launches speedy online quote system

Bupa Group Risk today launched a new online system that enables intermediaries to generate a quote and purchase cover within 30 minutes – nearly 500 times faster than the industry standard of 10 days.
The online system offers intermediaries access to a range of group protection products suitable for smaller schemes of between five and 100 lives.
Key features of the system include:
- competitive prices for intermediaries who use the new online system
- a simplified range of products to make it easy to purchase cover online
- the facility for intermediaries to adjust their level of commission up to a total of 20 percent
- the facility for intermediaries to generate as many variations on the quote as they need
Graham Clark, director of Bupa Group Risk, said: "The new online system will make it easy for brokers to service their clients more effectively. It is designed to be flexible and convenient, using a simple six step process to allow intermediaries to generate quotes quickly and at a time that suits them. This is just the start of the development of our online system; we plan to extend it further to offer online administration and claims tracking and we are working closely with intermediaries to ensure the new system meets their needs."
